Best Western Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel

This is our lodging of choice any time we visit Helena. The location is great. The hotel is spotless, rooms are large, with all the expected amenities and breakfast is far better than the usual fare. To top it off, the employees are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We look forward to staying at the Great Northern any chance we get!

The staff at this hotel are just super! Mo and Matt will greet you and they all will make sure you get your needs met. They make this place really super to stay at! Rooms are new and clean. Everything works. The gal who takes care of breakfast is really sweet and will generally take your dishes from the table for you, all in the hopes of getting a tip. Sweet folks doing work with little gratitude.

This has to be the absolute best experience we have ever had with any hotel! My wife gave birth to our son the Monday before our check-in that Friday. They absolutely took care of us! The hotel was absolutely beautiful, it smelt clean and fresh. They had top customer service and had a level of professionalism and individual care. We were there for a massive soccer tournament, and they handled it like a walk in the park. We will absolutely be back there! We highly recommend them!

Stayed her on Wednesday, January 24th 2024. Chris, the man at the front desk check us in. He is the Night Shift if I’m not mistaken. There was an error in our booking but Chris handled it very professionally. Whether it was my error or the hotels be immediately stated it was something the hotel did mistakenly ans he would get it rectified. I don’t believe I made an error in booking as I was booking with a group event so maybe he was just being honest but he handled the situation so kindly and appropriately, never getting stressed but being helpful and patient. Later we noticed the model train above the front desk and my husband commented on how cool it looked as we hadn’t seen it here before. Chris explained it actually went around a track and offered to play it for us. It wouldn’t work straight away so we went back to our room. About two minutes after being in the room Chris called us and said he got it going. We are suckers for childhood joys so we promptly went to the lobby to watch it. This has been an exceptional customer service experience and Chris is the perfect person to handle customer care and concerns.
